Hello and welcome! I'm Constança, a.k.a. Concha, a sewing enthusiast and a great believer in seasonal living. In January 2010 my husband and I moved from Lisbon, Portugal to rural Staffordshire, England; then in December 2012 we embraced a new adventure in New Zealand. But my goal remains the same: to lead a simple, meaningful, handmade life in a lovely home with my family.
I love Lisbon, my parents are from the northern part of Portugal so I rarely get to Lisbon. Lots of memories though when I was teaching English there. On a side note: can't wait for the clutch:)
Hello I have been reading your blog for quite some time now but thought i would finally say hello. My parents are Portuguese mom is from Portimao and Dad Lole..we live in Canada. I am looking forward to taking my children to visit Portugal in the very near future. Your blog is very inspiring to me and I love practicing reading my portuguese :) Laurie Anne xx

I love walking those narrow winding streets early on a Sunday morning and listening to the church bells ringing and echoing...
